how do we get there?

Matthews Trattoria Restaurant is conveniently located in downtown Erie in the renovated Lovell Place building.  The restaurant is located between French and Holland streets right on east 13th street.  Our address is 153 East 13th Street but simply look for our sign, parking is located directly across the street from the restaurant.

Visitors familiar with Erie can travel to the corner of 12th and State street which is a fairly busy and popular intersection.  Head east onto 12th street, your next street is French in which you will want to turn south on (it is one way only).  Your next street is 13th, take a left and Matthews is at the end of the block.  You will find parking on the left hand side.

For those of you who are coming in from out of town (Buffalo, Cleveland and Pittsburgh) you will want to take I-90 to I-79 (Unless you were coming from Pittsburgh, then you would already be on I-79).  Take I-79 North until it turns into the Bayfront Parkway.  Continue on the Parkway traveling along shoreline overlooking Pres'que Isle Bay until you come to Holland street.  You'll know you've reached Holland since it is the street directly after the Erie County Blasco Memorial Library.  Take a right onto Holland traveling south until you reach 13th street.  At this point you will be able to plainly see Matthew's Trattoria in front of you.  Parking is across from the restaurant.
